Due to its hydrophilic properties, hyaluronic acid creates a moist environment around and between cells and thus facilitates cell migration. It is particularly suitable for applying and creating a moist wound environment on acute and chronic wounds (e.g. scratches, donor wounds, post-operative wounds, first and second degree burns, ulcers caused by circulatory or metabolic disorders, bedsores) as it protects wounds from scratching, rubbing and drying.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eDosage and method of administration\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eWounds or ulcers should be cleaned and disinfected before treatment. A thin layer of cream should be applied to the wound surface two or more times a day.
