Evening primrose oil contains fatty acids of fundamental interest; they promote the balance between the different prostaglandins and are known to act on the premenstrual syndrome : swelling, painful tensions of the breasts and belly, headaches... Borage oil contains omega-6 fatty acids (linoleic and gamma-linoleic), which participates via phospholipids in the constitution of cell membranes.
